about
"The Fake King" is the first single from The Basement Dry, a newcomer indierock sound from Bogor, for their upcoming mini album that will be released on the late of 2021. "The Fake King" inspired from a guy that almost died when he unexpectedly trapped in an 'eternal conflict' with a bunch of brainless gang that always claiming them self as the authority of the state but very weak when they do individually.
lyrics
It starts when someone's car tire from other clan getting deflated by himself
and suddenly they accuse us and blame us for causing that weird problem
Calm down my friends
Too far away
It's embarrassing story from
a bunch of brainless people oh
who always declare theyself god
They're just a fake king
And now they force us to apologize for absurd thing that we didn't do
They want to make us feel so afraid but we reject their stupid request
It's not our way
to make the other scared
Our family have a strongest bond
We love to embrace everyone
And treat the other equal
We're not a fake king
